Common questions

What's the difference between n8n, Zapier, and Make?
Zapier is the easiest to start with but gets expensive at scale. Make (formerly Integromat) gives more visual flexibility for branched logic. n8n is open-source and self-hostable, best for businesses with data sovereignty concerns or complex workflows. We pick the right one for your case rather than defaulting to a favourite.
Can you automate things specific to my industry?
Yes. We've built automations for trades job-tracking, real estate listing distribution, clinic patient intake, e-commerce inventory sync, agency project setup, and many others. If a tool has an API, a webhook, or even an email export, it can be automated.
What if a tool we use doesn't have an integration?
We build custom connectors. Most legacy tools either expose an API (sometimes undocumented) or send/receive structured emails, both can be automated. In the rare case neither is true, we use browser automation as a last resort.
What happens when something breaks?
Every workflow we build has error handling, retries, and alerting. If something does go wrong, you get notified, and on the Growth plan and above, we monitor and fix proactively without you raising a ticket.
Is this just Zapier with extra steps?
No. Zapier handles linear A→B handoffs well; most real workflows have branching, conditional logic, error paths, and AI-powered decision points. We design and build the latter, often using Zapier as one component in a larger system.
Who owns the automations after we build them?
You do. They live in your accounts, on platforms you control. We'll happily maintain them on a retainer, but you're never locked in.
